Have you ever wanted to level another character on World Of Warcraft but found it too tedious and time consuming? There are certain activities on WoW that would be better to do on an alt character. Black Tabby farming for example, basically you have to kill Dalaran Spellscribes to get Black Tabby drops, one of the best classes to do this with is a level 21 Hunter because of its tracking skills.

Thanks to the technique I got from Jonathan Kenins of Secret Warcraft, I learned by listening to his podcast that I can make leveling way easier for me by using twinked out white gear. White because it’s not soulbound unlike greens, purples, and blue items that are bind-on-pickup or bind-on-equip. That way, you can make use of them after you’re done on your alt character, you can lend them to your friends or guild mates, or even use them to level a new character.

A way to do this is to buy the white items you need in the auction house, and use some powerful enchants on them. There’s no need to use the most powerful enchants in the game even if you can afford it because it’s really not worth the cost and the trouble. All you need are enchants that will give your low level alts a boost, for an advantage during leveling.

For example, you can make your new character move so much faster by putting Enchant Boots: Minor Speed on a pair of level 5 white boots. This will boost your characters speed by up to 8% speed! Now thats definitely an improvement, and will make your character do quests and leveling faster. You can even wear these boots until youre high enough level to get a mount.

Another good comparison is Calico Bracers, a white item with +9 armor versus Greenweave Bracers Of Intellect - a level 16 item with +15 armor rating. You just have to use Enchant Bracer: Greater Intellect on Calico Bracers to give it a +7 INT, a good boost to any low level character that uses intellect. As compared to the Greenweave Bracers Of Intellect that’s soulbound and only has +3 INT.

Good leveling gear is essential to get your low level characters up the level ladder quickly. By using enchanted white gear you’ll be able to do your quests without a problem, so it’s very, very, convenient. The other good thing about this is that as they are not soulbound, you can pass it along to friends and guildmates to help them out with leveling their characters, especially if they’re new on World Of Warcraft.
