As with all things new, Vista is bound to have some complications along the way. Launched in 2007, this relatively new OS are giving owners a lot of headaches when it comes to cleaning the registry. Most registry cleaners cannot work flawlessly with the said OS because it offers a lot of complicated problems than the average operating system.

But before you read on, you need to understand how the registry of the computer works. A registry basically stores all the information you put into the computer. That includes your settings, options preferred, and even your latest email. Undeniably, the registry is an important element to the internal and virtual structure of your computer or laptop.

A registry, however, can also cause the computer to slow down, almost to a crawl. This happens because a registry also stores junk files and redundant data. With more information stored in your computer’s registry, it will take more time for your PC to finish scanning all stored files.

When a registry is filled to the brim, it is time to call in the registry cleaner. This software automatically deletes junk files and other useless information and frees the registry a lot of space. With no redundant information to scan, your computer’s loading time and processes are definitely a lot faster.

Having said that, the new Windows Vista has a lot of features that are not present in Windows and Mac. Most registry cleaners are designed to work well with the Windows and Mac, but not with Vista. Although it is new, this new operating system still has some kinks that need to be ironed out.

Fortunately, some geniuses developed RegAce, a registry cleaner that works well with Vista. RegAce was launched at the start of 2009 and continues to be a tremendous success in keeping the registries of Vista computers and laptops to be clean and free of unwanted files. RegAce has been lauded with cheers and accolades because it meshes well with the new OS.

There are only a handful of registry cleaners engineered to work perfectly with Vista. RegAce just tops the list. As the years roll in, more and more registry cleaners will be created for the new OS. But for the meantime, RegAce is doing a good job keeping the registry spic and span.
